Travel info : the 49 bus runs to Halton from Lancaster every half hour till 7 pm. Get off at the memorial – ten minutes walk from the Mill. Lifts back to Lancaster will be arranged at the end of the evening for anyone who needs one (for a nominal contribution).

Pay what you can afford: suggested contribution £5 for the clothesswap, £5 for styling support, £10 for the supper – so a total of £20 suggested contribution for the whole event including a new look, supper and music. But we don’t want anyone to feel they can’t afford to come.  All income will go to Halton Mill lift fund – to install a lift and other facilities to make Halton Mill accessible to everyone.  Everyone involved in the event is giving their time free.  .  Lancaster People’s Cafe will be serving a supper from intercepted food that would otherwise be wasted. Their motto is ‘pay what you can, eat what you need’ – and at this event it goes for clothes too; ‘pay what you can, take what you need’.
