Included in all our rents is hyperfast, fibre optic broadband provided by community owned Broadband for the Rural North (B4RN), offering some of the highest upload and download speeds in the country.
A thriving, light and friendly co-working space. Prices: a permanent desk and storage costs £100 a month, a shared desk costs £60 a month for up to 80 hours, or £7.50 per day. Prices include service charge, utilities and internet. Wired broadband connections are available at to each desk.
We aim to keep our rents affordable, and our terms flexible, with rental periods of between six months and five years. Rents exclude utilities and rates – tenants qualify for 100% rates relief if this is their only space. There is an additional monthly service charge to cover the costs of servicing the communal areas and the hyperfast broadband.
Parking is limited and we encourage you to come by public transport or by bike – there is an excellent paved, lit cycle path from Lancaster and Caton, and we have showers! Car sharing is also encouraged.
There is some limited storage space available to rent.
There is a 20% discount on rent and facilities for Lancaster Cohousing residents, to meet planning conditions which are intended to encourage residents to work near to home, reducing travel to work journeys.
We have meeting rooms and a large rehearsal/event space for hire (with discounts for Halton Mill tenants), and catering can often be provided.
