River Tours: The Lune

River Tours was commissioned in 2022 in partnership with renowned theatre company Stan’s Cafe as part of their international touring project on the rivers of the world.

With an intricate textile map created out of recycled materials by Sewing Café Lancaster, a beautiful text by Claire Dean and actor, Orla Cottingham as our guide, River Tours: The Lune is a collaborative project exploring the river’s environment, wildlife, social history and folklore.

After the captivating premiere two years ago, Lancaster Arts and Sewing Café Lancaster are now bringing this work to rural locations along the river itself.

Tickets are on sale now.

Each performance is 'Pay what you wish' but booking is recommended.

The tour comes to Halton Mill on Sunday April 14 from 4pm.
