After university Fay practiced as an accountant, qualifying fully in 2015. Following the birth of her second son, & with the accounting industry not calling her back, Fay was looking for a role to meet new people, & be part of an exciting community - & there was Halton Mill. Starting as the administrator in 2021 and becoming Operations Manager in 2023, Fay can't wait to be part of the Mill's exciting future.
Outside the Mill Fay loves spending time with her husband and 3 little people, periodically re-decorating each room of the house (my poor husband!) & pottering in the garden with the Guinea Pigs.
Nick is your first point of contact for any enquiries about hiring the spaces, or putting on your own events at The Mill.

Clare is our site manager & is around to help with any practical jobs around the Mill.
Prior to working here she spent a good number of years in west Wales, working at an obscure university & then selling in organic fruit & veg & whole foods, also earning her keep by gardening.
She first moved to Lancaster from Wales in 2018 & to Halton in 2022 with her young daughter. When not working, they love to find new places to visit & all frequent all the green spaces & parks in the area. Spending lots of time at The Centre @ Halton while her daughter swoops about on the swings or in the skate park, Clare is usually found having a brew. Both Clare & her daughter enjoy being part of the Mill’s community & what it offers - live music, dance, art & poetry events. "We can’t wait for Millfest to come round again .. last year we left a note on our door, it read: gone to Millfest see you on the bouncy castle."
