When Kev and Ali went to Art School
When Alison stepped down from running the Mill, she fulfilled a long-held dream to do an Art Foundation Diploma. Her husband, Kevin, got inspired, so he joined her for the year at Manchester School of Art, surrounded by 160 plus 18-year-olds. They had a ball, trying out everything from welding and sandblasting to laser cutting and screen printing.
They are exhibiting some of their creations on the mezzanine, along with a few lesson plans and bits of the creative process.
Private View from 5-7pm on Friday 29 November. Then available to view building open time from 30 November.
